The latest update from the war front is that we've won the first major battle! The Gall Salient has been excised and removed laparoscopically. However, there are still elements of the enemy (rogue stones wandering around on their own) that need to be cleared up. This will take the use of another unit - The Gastro-Enterologists. They'll be entering the fray either this evening or tomorrow morning.
Stay tuned for further news!

Sending best wishes and a prayer for her recovery. Thank you for taking good care of her!
Hi. Wandered over from T's blog. My own GB revolted in 2001; I had the same wonderful minimally-invasive surgery and now have a series of scrapbook pages entitled "The Gallbladder That Ate July". May she have as swift and uncomplicated a recovery as I did. Give her a big hug for me and tell her she'll be in my prayers today. [No need to post this; it just seemed the most effective way to get her a message at the moment.]
Thanks Mike for keeping us posted. We're praying for a quick recovery. Love your rendition of the 'battle'
