An occasional semi-serious look at bits of the world by a Brit now living in the Colonies. Often taken over by yarny and techy stuff - but then, that's also part of the world we live in. The food is all my own - I cook it, then I describe it here.
I'm a database developer with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Access, Paradox, PHP, and VB.NET. Particularly interested in DBA functions, ETL, and reporting.
I'm British by birth, American by choice, living in Lansdale, PA, with my wife. I have a son, she a daughter. We live in an apartment totally infested with computers - the spare bedroom is nicknamed Mission Control, where the bed takes less room than the electronics. My favourite non-technical occupations are cooking and reading.
All recipes on these pages are published after I cook them myself, so you can be sure that at least one or two people have survived them!
Find me on Ravelry (dcpking), FB, or LinkedIn.
Find me at SQL Saturdays. See here for why I'm the DCP King!
